Polish Outrage Over Premier's Security in Kaunas – LFF's Response © lff.lt

LFF decided to react to the publication by Polish journalist Dariusz Dobek, who expresses outrage at the negligent work of security personnel before the World Cup qualifying match in Kaunas.

According to the onet.pl portal, there could have been a danger to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who attended the match between Lithuania and Poland.

D. Dobek stated that the security did not check the backpacks of journalists entering the arena, which could have posed a threat to the politician watching the match from a nearby box.

However, LFF denied this information.

As reported by the delfi.lt portal, federation leaders assured that the identities of Polish journalists were checked before the meeting, and larger backpacks were also thoroughly shaken out.

The team from our neighboring country celebrated a 2:0 victory in the match between Lithuania and Poland.
