Parma introduces new coach

"Parma" team officially announced that Alberto Gilardino has been appointed as the new head coach.

He will replace Carlos Cuesta, who was dismissed from his position over the weekend.

On Tuesday, the Italian club announced that a contract was signed with A. Gilardino until the end of the 2026–2027 season, with an option to extend it for one more year.

The 44-year-old specialist, who became a world champion with the Italian national team in 2006, has been without a job since the beginning of this year in February when he left the head coach position at Pisa.

Previously, he also coached Genoa, Siena, and Pro Vercelli clubs.
