Manchester City club's head coach Pep Guardiola was more open than ever on one issue.

The Catalan commented on the ongoing wars and did not hide his desire for peace in the world:

"Never in human history has there been so much clear information as there is now.

Genocide in Palestine, what is happening in Ukraine and all over the world – in Sudan, everywhere. Do you want to see this? These issues are a problem for humanity.”

"It hurts me when thousands of innocent people are being killed. It hurts me when there is a desire to incapacitate another country.

Why do we strive to kill each other? When I see the pictures, I apologize, but it becomes painful.”

Pep Guardiola expanded on this issue before the Carabao Cup match against Newcastle United.
