P. Guardiola: 'Rodrygo is a good player and a guy from another planet'

Manchester City's head coach Pep Guardiola praised Real Madrid's full-back Rodrygo in an interview with the sports publication Movistar and confirmed that Rodri will not play yet due to injury:

I told Rodrygo what a great player he is. This is a player from another... this guy is from another planet.

I am glad that the Brazilian has returned after injury. He is a very, very good player.

Rodri is recovering but will still not be able to return to the lineup against London’s Crystal Palace.

Rodrygo was linked with the Man City team last summer.

The full-back scored his first goal of the season on Wednesday.
