P. Guardiola: 'I will wait for B. Silva's news about the future, as I don't know anything myself.' © imago-images

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola commented on the upcoming FA Cup match against Salford City and hinted about captain Bernardo Silva's future:

My priority is to overcome the Salford team and advance to the next round of the cup.

Unfortunately, we lost the last two finals. We are exhausted, but we will be able to rest after tomorrow's match.

B. Silva can talk, but he is an example. No one in the dressing room could deny that.

I have no idea about the Portuguese's future. I told him that when he decides what to do, he should tell me.

Until then, I know nothing.

31-year-old Bernardo Silva has scored 2 goals in 35 matches this season.

The midfielder has been with Man City since 2017 and has scored 75 times in 445 matches.
