Manchester City club head coach Pep Guardiola did not hide his belief that his team can still advance to the next stage after losing 0:3 to Real Madrid in the Champions League:

"Now everything is harder in our heads, but we will be here.

We will play until the end and agree that we can look better – to be more active in the final attacking phase and we will do our best.”

"In football, you can never know what will happen. We will see if we can show something good, but we will try.”

The winners scored three goals in the first half through Federico Valverde.

The return match will take place next Tuesday in Manchester.
