As journalist Fabrizio Romano reported, this team won the appeal to remain in the "Ligue 1” championship.

Initially, it was decided that due to financial troubles, the legendary French team would be relegated to a lower league.

"Olympique Lyon” club finished in eighth place last season and will compete in next season's Europa League.
