Official: V. Čeburinas bids farewell to Vilnius "Žalgiris" after five years.

The coach Vladimir Čeburinas, who has been leading the "Žalgiris" team since 2021, is leaving the club.

In his last match as head coach, V. Čeburinas led "Žalgiris" to a victorious duel against "Panevėžys."

After the match, it was announced that the coach parted ways with the club by mutual agreement.

Along with V. Čeburinas, the goalkeeping coach Valerijus Sitalo also bid farewell to the team.

Under V. Čeburinas, the Žalgiris players won 3 championship titles, 2 cup titles, and the Super Cup, and in 2022, they became the first in history to reach the group stage of UEFA tournaments.

The coach was in charge of the team in a total of 228 matches, achieving 131 victories.

FK "Žalgiris" thanks the coach for many years of working with the team and wishes him success in future challenges.
