The Tottenham team officially announced that they have signed a new contract with captain Cristian Romero.

The new agreement between both parties will be valid until the summer of 2029.

This off-season, the 27-year-old world champion was called up by the Madrid Atletico club, but ultimately decided to stay in England.

The defender from Argentina has been representing Tottenham since 2021, when he arrived from the Bergamo Atalanta team.
