Official: Bayern extended the contract with V. Kompany

FC Bayern Munich has awarded a new contract to head coach Vincent Kompany.

On Tuesday, the German champions officially announced that a contract has been signed with the 39-year-old Belgian until the summer of 2029.

"I am incredibly happy and want to thank the Bayern management for their trust.

Together we have started an amazing journey that we are ready to continue," said V. Kompany after signing the contract.

The Belgian took over the reins at Bayern in the summer of 2024 and returned the Bundesliga trophy to the club last season.
