The head coach of London's Crystal Palace club, Olivier Glasner, commented on the failed transfer of Marco Guehi to the "scouser" team on the last day of the transfer window ahead of the upcoming match against Liverpool:

"Of course, M. Guehi was disappointed after the unsuccessful transfer to Liverpool... But then he said: no, it's all good, I like being here. I love the Eagles team, the staff, I love Crystal Palace, I'm a south London boy, and I will give everything I can."

"I knew this would happen."

The Liverpool team aims to acquire this defender next winter or summer.
