On Monday, Manchester United parted ways with team coach Ruben Amorim, who will be temporarily replaced by Darren Fletcher.

However, the former Man Utd player is not expected to stay at the helm for long, and the club will look for a temporary coach until the end of the season, while a new long-term coach will be appointed in the summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly ready to return to the helm of Man Utd, even if temporarily, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

It is reported that the Norwegian would agree to a short-term contract offer.

Similarly, O. G. Solskjaer took over the reins of Man Utd at the end of 2018 when he replaced Jose Mourinho. At that time, the Norwegian was also appointed as an interim coach, but after a solid season finish, he was offered a long-term contract and worked with the team until March 2019.
