Nottingham Forest striker T. Awoniyi placed in medically induced coma

Currently, the entire football world is with Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi.

Daily Mail journalist Mike Keegan reports that the 27-year-old forward has been put into an induced coma due to surgery.

The forward suffered a serious abdominal injury after colliding with the post during a fast break in the match against Leicester City. He was immediately substituted.

Another surgery will be performed tomorrow, and there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel, adds M. Keegan.
