Neymar: 'I was recently close to moving to Fluminense club'

"Santos" club midfielder Neymar revealed that he was close to transferring to "Fluminense" before the Club World Cup:

"I was very close to moving to the 'Fluminense' team this month so I could compete in this tournament, it was a very good chance... Then we couldn't reach an agreement.

I decided to not continue with that and stay in the 'Santos' squad and recover from my injury, as I am still not fully prepared. I also want to return to my best condition as soon as possible."

"Fluminense" is in the same group as Dortmund's "Borussia", "Sundowns", and "Ulsan" in the Club World Cup tournament.
