New Allegations Against T. Partey in Rape Case

The former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey will be forced to navigate a tricky situation.

The African player faces two additional rape allegations, bringing the total number of charges against him to seven counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.

The 32-year-old footballer, who denies all allegations, is set to appear in court on November 2.

The alleged crimes are linked to the period between 2021 and 2022, when he was still playing for the Arsenal club.

He was first officially charged soon after he left the club following the expiration of his contract last June.

Thomas Partey, who currently plays for Spain's Villarreal team, will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on March 13 due to the new allegations.

He remains released on bail and must inform the police of any travel abroad and avoid contact with the claimants.

Despite the case, Partey can continue to play football for his club and the Ghana national team.
