Before the end of the summer transfer window, the Solar City team was joined by another new face – the Šiauliai team reached an agreement with Vilnius "Riteriai" defender Nojus Stankevičius.

The solidly built defender, arriving from the capital to Šiauliai, began pursuing his professional football dreams at the Vilnius "Žalgiris" academy, eventually joining the main team's ranks. However, Nojus never debuted with the green and white team and mostly played in the B team.

Later, in the summer of 2022, the player moved on loan to the "Jonavos" team, which was then competing in the country's top division, where the defender made his professional football debut. It is symbolic that Nojus marked his debut with a match against "Šiauliai". That time, the yellow-blacks celebrated a victory with a score of 3:1, and the new member of the Šiauliai team played the entire match.

After the loan ended, the player from Radviliškis left the Žalgiris camp and transferred to the aforementioned "Riteriai" team. With the latter, the defender fell into the "TOPsport First League" after the season, and later returned to the top football league of the country after winning it.

"Emotions are at their best right now. From the very first minute when I arrived at this organization, I saw that there is a high level here. I am really glad to have joined and I am really looking forward to starting training with the yellow-blacks.

It wasn't hard to decide, as both sides were interested. I also received really good feedback from people who were or are here. The conversation with the coach helped me decide even more – I feel his trust and I know that this is a high-level organization.

There are definitely familiar faces in the team – together with Kristupas Keršys, Karolis Žebrauskas, Gabriel Micevičius, and Deividas Dovydaitis, we have played in the Lithuanian boys' U21 national team. I maintain good relationships with coach Mantas Kuklys, with whom I spent several years at the Vilnius "Žalgiris" club. I have already crossed paths with other team members, as this year I had to fight on opposing barricades three times.

I hope for a short adaptation period and a quick connection with my teammates, and I hope to delight the spectators not only with security at my own goal but also with goals at the opponent's goal," said N. Stankevičius, who joined the yellow-blacks.

The footballer will wear the number 33 jersey.
