The Sassuolo club will soon have an experienced midfielder.

As reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Italian team will be joined by Lyon player Nemanja Matić.

The Serbian has signed a one-year contract with Sassuolo, with the option to extend for another year.

The 37-year-old Nemanja Matić played 55 matches over two seasons at Lyon.

Prior to that, he spent nine years at London clubs Chelsea and Manchester United.
