In March, the "Man Utd" team officially announced that they would build the "most iconic stadium in the world."
The Manchester team intends to construct a 100,000-seat arena over five years.
As "The Sun" now reports, the structure will feature exclusive conditions for extremely wealthy football fans – there will be as many as 20,000 VIP seats. Supporters will be able to immerse themselves in the football atmosphere sitting both right next to the pitch and in the stadium's "equatorial zone."
"Man Utd" will prioritize the sale of long-term subscriptions and aims for season tickets costing £4,000 to be sold for at least a 15-year period.
The "Premier" League team is at least formally supporting discussions with the team's fans and is trying to consult their opinions on these plans. According to the press, one fan left the meeting feeling extremely pessimistic, stating that they face a "sad reality" in the future.
The new football temple will rise next to the legendary "Old Trafford" arena and will cost about £2 billion.
In the current stadium, which has a capacity of 74,000 spectators, the "Man Utd" team has played for the last 115 years.
However, it is still unclear how the Manchester team, which has debts of £1 billion, will finance the construction of the largest stadium in England and the second largest in Europe.
