"Manchester City" is preparing a new contract for last year's best footballer Rodri.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the "cityzens" are getting ready to make a solid offer to the 29-year-old Spaniard.

The defensive midfielder will be offered a contract until the summer of 2029, and Rodri would become the second highest-paid player on the team after Erling Haaland.

Rodri's current contract with the "cityzens" is valid until the summer of 2027.
