Before heading to the Africa Cup of Nations, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah acted honorably.
The Reds' midfielder Curtis Jones revealed that the Egyptian apologized to the team for his monologue expressed to the Norwegian press. After that, he had a stronger falling out with coach Arne Slot and did not play in the Champions League match against Inter.
"Mo is fully responsible for everything, and he can express his thoughts. He apologized to us and more or less said: 'If I affected something or made you feel a certain way, I’m sorry.'
That's the kind of man he is. I can only speak from the perspective of knowing Mo and understanding what he is like and how he acted.
He was positive; he remained the same Mo. He was smiling broadly, and everyone accepted that," Jones told the Guardian.
