Marc Guehi will remain with Crystal Palace for at least another half a season.

Although on Monday Crystal Palace and Liverpool reached an agreement for the central defender's transfer, ultimately the deal was canceled, even though M. Guehi had already undergone a medical examination.

M. Guehi was supposed to replace Brighton defender Igor at Crystal Palace, but the Brazilian ultimately decided to move to West Ham United. Since Crystal Palace didn't have time to find another replacement, M. Guehi's transfer to Liverpool was canceled.

Interestingly, M. Guehi's departure could have caused even more chaos within the club. "Indykaila News" reports that the head coach Oliver Glasner also threatened to resign in case of M. Guehi's departure.

It is added that Liverpool will seek to acquire the Englishman again in January.
