The London "Tottenham" club is close to acquiring an important player.

Journalist Nicolo Schira reports that the Premier League team has agreed on a personal contract with West Ham's midfielder Matheus Fernandes.

"Tottenham" is trying to hurry to outpace "Man Utd" and other teams interested in the player.

West Ham is set to offer a compensation of 70 million euros for the athlete.

In the previous season, he scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists in 42 matches.
