Munich's "Bayern" club director Max Eberl once again commented on defender Dayot Upamecano's future and the rumors regarding this French player:

"I am not surprised that many clubs are interested in D. Upamecano... We are also interested in extending the contract with the defender.

This takes time. We are trying to hold talks and convince him to stay in the Bavarian team's project."

26-year-old Dayot Upamecano has been playing for "Bayern" since 2021 and has scored 5 goals in 159 matches.
