Trent Alexander-Arnold's role at the new career club "Real" may not be so bright.
According to "The Athletic" journalist Mario Cortegano, certain club sources hope that Dani Carvajal will outcompete the newcomer from England during the season.
D. Carvajal's camp believes that the Spanish player, returning from injury, has secured a spot in the starting eleven despite the notable addition from the "Liverpool" team.
So far this season, these two right-back defenders have shared one start each - T. Alexander-Arnold played against "Osasuna," while D. Carvajal started the away match against "Real Oviedo."
The Spanish player has recovered from a cruciate ligament injury.
