"Manchester United” club head coach Michael Carrick after a 2:2 draw with "Bournemouth” was angry about another unawarded penalty against the opponents:

"To award one and not to award another, I just can’t understand that – it’s madness.

I understand the referee's decision to send Harry Maguire off the pitch, but there should have been another penalty awarded and then it would have been a different match.”

"I thought that’s what VAR is for – to clarify the situation and ensure consistency.

These were two different decisions, so it really confuses me.”

"We could have squeezed more out of this match, but it's not the end of the world.

After the international break, we will come back even stronger.

"Manchester United” club remains in third place in the English championship with 55 points.

They have seven matches left until the end of the season.
