"Marseille" has been shaken by changes.

Saturday's 2:2 draw with "RC Strasbourg" was the last straw for Medhi Benatia.

The former footballer is stepping down from his position as sporting director of OM.

M. Benatia has held this position in the legendary French club since January 18 of last year.

During his career, the 38-year-old Medhi Benatia played two seasons with Bayern Munich and spent three years with Juventus in Turin.

As part of "Juve," the defender scored 5 goals in 59 matches.

The "Marseille" club is in fourth place in the "Ligue 1" championship with 40 points.
