M. Arteta: "We must always be ready for the January transfer window."

The head coach of London’s Arsenal club, Mikel Arteta, commented on the approaching January transfer window before the match against Birmingham’s Aston Villa:

"We always have to be ready. We have to be open to that.

So we don’t know yet, but we will always be interested and we know where there could be risks in the squad and to be prepared, just in case action needs to be taken.”

London’s Arsenal club is in first place in the English Championship with 33 points.
