M. Arteta: "W. Saliba told me himself that he wants to stay at Arsenal"

The head coach of London’s Arsenal club, Mikel Arteta, commented on how William Saliba wanted to extend his contract with the "Gunners":

"I was quite open with him... Because when you hear all that noise, you can expect certain things. When I saw such a situation with W. Saliba, I asked the Frenchman about his future.

He said he wants to stay here and play in this team for me and for others.

Twenty-four-year-old William Saliba has tied his future to the Arsenal team until 2030.

He has been playing here since the summer of 2022.
