The head coach of London’s Arsenal club, Mikel Arteta, commented on Bukayo Saka's chances of extending his contract ahead of the upcoming match against Newcastle United:

"I would really like that.

He is a player who is incredibly happy to have the role he has. Things will happen in due time. Everyone knows how important B. Saka is to this team. I hope we will extend the contract with him soon."

Bukayo Saka returned from a thigh injury in Sunday’s match against Manchester City.
