Last season's champions of England's "Premier" league, "Liverpool," struggled against the "Wolves" team, who had yet to secure a victory.

The Liverpool club defeated the league's underdogs at home with a score of 2:1.

The "Wolves" were excellent in defense for almost the entire first half, but in the 41st minute, Ryan Gravenberch broke through the guests' defense.

Just a minute later, Florian Wirtz finally scored his first goal in the "Premier" league.

However, the "Wolves" quickly leveled the score after the break when Santiago Bueno found the net.

At the end of the match, the guests even created a threat to the opponents' goal, but they couldn't manage to pull at least a draw.

In other matches, "Arsenal" secured a victory with the same score against "Brighton."

The "Gunners" took the lead in the 14th minute through Martin Odegaard.

In the 52nd minute, "Brighton" forward Georginio Rutter accidentally directed the ball into his own net.

Diego Gomez revived "Brighton's" hopes in the 64th minute, but "Arsenal" held onto their victory and returned to the top of the league table.
