The "Liverpool" team is already looking for a successor to the aging defender Virgil Van Dijk.

As reported by "Bild", the Premier League champions have started to scout Borussia Dortmund representative Nico Schlotterbeck.

The 25-year-old German is also of interest to Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Manchester City.

It is claimed that "Liverpool" will try their luck in the player transfer window opening in January, but "Borussia" likely does not want to part with an important player.

N. Schlotterbeck's contract with the Bundesliga team is valid until the summer of 2027.
