"Liverpool” bounced back from last week’s defeat.

The "Reds” defeated "Brentford” 2–1 away from home.

In the 41st minute, a penalty against "Brentford” was overturned after the referee initially ruled that Alexis Mac Allister had been fouled, but changed the decision following a VAR review.

In the 44th minute, Keane Lewis-Potter put the "Bees” ahead.

During first-half stoppage time, Ukrainian Yehor Yarmoliuk received a red card for a headbutt. VAR intervened once again.

In the 62nd minute, Victor Muñoz equalized.

In the 70th minute, Alexander Isak put the visitors ahead.

The margin could have been greater, but Bradley Barcola was rather indecisive on several counterattacks.
