Starting a new cycle with the Lithuanian national team, head coach Edgaras Jankauskas has two goals for this year.

According to tv3.lt journalist Mantas Krasnickas, the Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) has set two goals for the experienced coach this year – to win the Baltic Cup and to take first place in their group in League D of the Nations League.

If these objectives are not met, the coach will be shown the door.

In the Nations League, the Lithuanian national team will compete against the national teams of Azerbaijan and Liechtenstein, while Latvia, Estonia, and the Faroe Islands' players will fight for the Baltic Cup this summer.
