L. Rosenioras: "If fans properly support the club, good things will happen"

The new head coach of London’s Chelsea club, Liam Rosenior, released his first message since his arrival:

"Believe me, believe me, what an incredible football club this is.

Believe in the players; when you give this team energy, you will help them win... That’s why I’m here. That’s why my base is in London. That’s why these players are here.

We are here to win, and I really, really need the fans to help achieve the goals.”

"I want high-tempo, aggressive, and attacking play... I want the fans to be on their feet all the time. I want us to be intense, to be bold and fearless – then we will have a very good time together.

I am in a position where I would like to be remembered as a winning coach, constantly winning – that does not come only from me. It’s the players, the club, and the staff too.

My job is to create an atmosphere where we constantly win. I want to be here for a very long time. I know we need to win in the short term to build a long-term future.”

London’s Chelsea club shares 5th-6th places in the English Championship with 31 points.
