The head coach of London's Chelsea club, Liam Rosenior, commented on the goalkeeper rotation between Filip Jorgensen and Roberto Sanchez and the goal of selecting the best starting lineup:
"I look at the goalkeeper position differently for each match. I want there to be competition in every position.
I know that it is commonly said that when a goalkeeper changes, he will be the starter. That is not the case here, absolutely not.
So, in each match, we will strive to pick the best possible lineup."
"Not only do we need consistency, but we also need to win football matches. There are various ways to achieve this – modern coaches, older methods, or something similar.
Before each match, I will choose the team that I believe is best prepared. I do not think I will have the same starting lineup for every matchup.
Now people may say that we need continuity, and if we lose, it means we lack consistency. If we win, it will be the right decision."
Tomorrow, Chelsea will play in the FA Cup round of 16 against Wrexham.
The "Aristocrats" share 5th-6th place in the English championship with Liverpool, having 48 points.
