The head coach of London’s Chelsea club, Liam Rosenior, commented on midfielder Enzo Fernández's future and Trevoh Chalobah's injury before the match against Everton:

"I had a good conversation with E. Fernández. Not only about his comments but also about how he feels and how he can improve this team.

He is one of the ‘aristocrat’ captains, and I can say that the Argentine has clearly shown how happy he is here.

E. Fernández demonstrates how much he wants to win and passionately pursues our success.

He also added that his comments regarding the future may be misinterpreted. E. Fernández is committed to this club and aims for victories here.”

"T. Chalobah will not play for six weeks. It’s not a serious injury, but it’s sad for such a drop-out period.

But we are in a better position than we expected to be a few days ago.”

25-year-old Enzo Fernández has been playing for Chelsea since 2023 and has scored 28 goals in over 160 matches.

This season, the Argentine has scored 12 times in 45 matches.

The ‘aristocrats’ are in sixth place in the English Championship with 48 points.
