This summer, upon returning to his homeland, defender Leandro Paredes recalled an unpleasant story involving the country's hero Lionel Messi.
According to the new Boca Juniors player, there was a time when the legend accidentally got very angry with him and did not speak for three months.
The incident occurred when the Argentinians were playing together at Paris Saint-Germain.
As L. Paredes said, during the match, he insulted an opponent, but L. Messi decided that his teammate's curses were directed at him.
"Later, the forward did not speak to me for three months. It was very difficult. I tried to apologize to Lionel the next day, writing in a message that I was cursing at the opponent. Other attempts didn’t help, and I got no response."
"Eventually, one day, I arrived at the training ground early, and when Lionel walked in, he said, ‘What are you doing here?’ and splashed water on me,” said L. Paredes.
