L. Messi: 'Most players overvalue personal awards'

Miami "Inter" club defender Lionel Messi commented on the inappropriate attitude of most players and their desire to play in the next World Cup:

"Many players greatly value personal awards.

But they forget the main goal, which is team achievement. In order to reach records, first and foremost, the team must win."

"I hope that God will help me compete in next year's World Cup."

Lionel Messi will soon extend his contract with the Miami team until the winter of 2028.

The Argentinian scored 31 goals and provided 17 assists in the regular season.
