The Paris "Saint-Germain" club failed to stop Bayern Munich's winning streak on Tuesday.
In the UEFA Champions League match, "Bayern" managed to defeat PSG away with a score of 2:1, winning for the 16th time in a row.
PSG was not saved even by the fact that throughout the entire second half, the guests played with a numerical disadvantage, as Luis Diaz received a red card at the end of the first half, having previously scored a brace.
After the match, PSG coach Luis Enrique admitted that "Bayern" was the better team in the first half, but lamented that his team gave their opponents too many easy chances.
"When we played 11 against 11, the opponents were simply better. "Bayern" created more dangerous moments and also received wonderful gifts from us. When you give such chances to a team like that, they will eventually score. I’m not looking for excuses, as we just have to be more cautious."
"I can’t explain why we played so poorly in the first half. "Bayern" scored two goals but could have easily scored at least four. I am disappointed, as I was expecting a different match," L. Enrique said after the game.
