The head coach of the Spanish national team, Luis de la Fuente, commented on the call-up of Barcelona player Lamine Yamal to the national team and his current condition:

"Considering everything, I see that L. Yamal is in excellent shape.

His coach Hansi Flick said that the Spaniard is ready to compete. He will be here as long as we need him. We need the best players in this national team."

The Spanish national team will play against the national teams of Georgia and Turkey in the World Cup qualifiers.
