
The most effective player of the modern "Žalgiris," Liviu Antalis, is returning to Vilnius for the third stage of his career.
After last season, the Romanian returned to his homeland and represented the SCM "Zalău" team from his native region.
At the end of the season in Romania, an agreement was reached for L. Antal's loan to "Žalgiris" until the end of this year.
L. Antalis played for "Žalgiris" from 2017 to 2020, and from the summer of 2023 until the end of 2024. With the Vilnius team, he became the country's champion twice, won the LFF Cup twice, and once triumphed in the Super Cup.
L. Antalis has two top scorer awards in his personal collection. Last year, he scored 20 goals in 35 matches in the championship.
Overall, representing "Žalgiris," the Romanian scored 89 goals in 162 matches and is the club's all-time record holder in this indicator, as well as the top-scoring foreign player in the history of the Lithuanian championship.
