The leaders of Kyrgyzstan decided to surprise the football world.
Construction work on an impressive stadium in Central Asia has already started.
The arena, which will become the pride of Bishkek, will accommodate 51,000 spectators and, according to Turkish architects, will resemble a yurt – the national dwelling of local nomads.
The designers also paid attention to the spectators – the stadium will have 3,600 parking spaces for cars under the roof behind the scenes.
According to Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, the building opening next year will cost about 60 million USD, although foreign media estimates suggest its price could reach up to 100 million euros.
However, even this amount would be significantly lower than the construction costs of the 18,000-seat National Stadium in Vilnius. Including the costs of the attached museum, library, kindergarten, and sports halls, the price of the multifunctional facility reached as much as 155 million euros.
🇰🇬 Such a national stadium is being built in... Kyrgyzstan

Joan Laporta himself was at the groundbreaking ceremony. Perhaps he was there looking for a new coach 🤔
