Kaunas Žalgiris Futsal Team Extends Contract with Head Coach Dentinho

The Lithuanian futsal club "Kauno Žalgiris" has extended its contract with the team's head coach Dentinho. The Brazilian, who has been leading the Kaunas team for the past five years, will continue for another two years.

Joining "Kauno Žalgiris" in 2021, the strategist has competed five times in the UEFA Futsal Champions League with the team during this period, defended the Lithuanian champion title four times in a row, and claimed 4 LFF Futsal Super Cups and 3 LFF Futsal Cup trophies.

In addition to these team achievements, Dentinho has been named the best futsal coach working in Lithuania for two consecutive years.

"I remain the coach of 'Kauno Žalgiris' because I believe in my and the team’s work. I am very happy to have the opportunity to continue working with this team. I came here with dreams, and today I can say that I have created my own story. Lithuania has become my home, and the 'Kauno Žalgiris' club is my family. We will continue this journey together, creating new stories and aiming for even greater victories and recognition," said the team's manager.
