K. Kvaratskhelia: 'Despite the result, we continued to aim to stand out'

The PSG club decisively defeated London’s Chelsea team with a score of 5:2 in the first Champions League match.

After the match, the team’s midfielder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia commented on his team's performance and explained the reasons for their victory:

"Even with the score at 3:2 and 4:2, we wanted to score more goals.

I believe we won because we really wanted it and fought until the very end.”

"I am very happy because we had an incredible performance this evening.

I am also satisfied with my game against a great team.”

"They said we were tired? I disagree with that. Because we are PSG.”

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored two goals and made an assist in this match.

The Georgian played from the 62nd minute and only needed half an hour to make impactful plays.

The return match will take place next Tuesday in London.
