The National Stadium should welcome its first visitors in a couple of years.

The construction company "Naresta" announced joyful news on social media:

"Today, we officially announce the resumption of work at the National Stadium. We were fully prepared to implement the project for over a year, so the team is well-coordinated, thoroughly familiar with the situation and the operational plan, ready to work accurately and efficiently."

"Preparation bears fruit: about 5-10 minutes after we received the news that we could start, tractors were already working at the construction site. We will build the stadium," says Naresta's director Tadas Grincevičius.

In the first stage of the National Stadium Park construction, an 18,000-seat UEFA Category IV stadium will rise on a 22-hectare area, along with two football training fields and main engineering networks.
