In the quarter-finals of Spain's "Copa del Rey," the "Albacete" club defeated Vigo's "Celta" after a penalty shootout, with a score of 3:0.
The winning team's defender Jesus Vallejo surprised many with his response regarding which team he would like to face in the quarter-finals:
"Who would I like to play against in the next round if I had to choose between the teams 'Barcelona' and 'Real'?"
I would say... the Madrid team."
Jesus Vallejo was a part of the "Real" team from 2015 to 2025 and scored one goal in 35 matches.
During this time, the Spaniard was loaned to the teams "Zaragoza," "Eintracht," "Wolves," and "Granada."
Jesus Vallejo moved to "Albacete" as a free agent and will play here until the summer of 2027.
