"Manchester City" club has been linked for a long time with possible 100 violations since February 2023.

La Liga president Javier Tebas did not hide his anger over this situation:

"I understand that this is a governance failure. This has happened with the ‘Man City’ team, and other teams are watching and listening to all of this.

Other clubs are punished, points are deducted from them, and this is great if you do not follow the rules. Only the ‘citizens’ are unpunished.

I communicate with many Premier League clubs, and most of them also do not understand this. It weakens the institution itself.”

"This is not just a delay, but a broader situation. When an institution like the Premier League has such a situation with financial fair play rules, a lot of legal certainty is needed.

I simply cannot comment. Since I haven't commented for three years, I won’t start now.

I will just mention that any regulator wants their judicial system to function properly and well. I have nothing more to add.”
