Xabi Alonso will not succeed in luring Jonathan Tah to Madrid's Real club. It seems that the defender has chosen to remain in Germany.

According to The Athletic journalist Mario Cortegana, J. Tah has made progress in negotiations with Bayern Munich.

Currently, both sides are negotiating a three-year contract with an option to extend it for another year.

This season, the 29-year-old defender has played 32 matches in the Bundesliga, during which he scored 3 goals.
