J. Mourinho points finger at referee after poor 'Real' series against 'Betis'

Last night, Real Madrid lost 0:1 to Sevilla's Betis in their away match and suffered their first defeat in the La Liga championship.

The only goal of the match was scored by Troy Parrott in the 81st minute.

During added time, Real's sniper Kylian Mbappe missed a penalty kick – his shot was saved by goalkeeper Alvaro Valles.

The royal team has failed to secure a victory against Betis in five consecutive matches – suffering two defeats and recording three draws.

The last time Madrid won in Sevilla was on August 28, 2021, when a goal by Dani Carvajal ensured a 1:0 victory.

Real coach Jose Mourinho, commenting on the defeat, didn't forget to mention the referee.

"I received a yellow card because I jumped when a Betis player pretended to be dead," said the Portuguese.

J. Mourinho was also dissatisfied that none of the home team's players received a yellow card in the first half, while Madrid's player Arda Guler was cautioned.

Betis players were not punished in the first half, while poor Arda, who is just playing football, caught the referee's attention.
