The journey of Croatian champions "Rijeka" in the Champions League did not last long.

In the second round, joining the qualifying stage, Justo Lasico's club lost to Bulgarian champions "Ludogorets".

The first match ended 0:0, and in the second, after extra time, "Ludogorets" defeated "Rijeka" 3:1.

In the 70th minute, J. Lasickas entered the field and after a minute made an assist - Amer Gojakas equalized the score.

During the remaining regular time, "Rijeka" was left with nine players. The players of the Croatian champions received two red cards after harsh fouls.
